Big Brother auditions today
Auditions for the ninth season of Africa’s biggest reality series Big Brother Africa start today at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe and MultiChoice Malawi is calling on all those who want to be part the life changing experience to come in large numbers.
The two-day auditions mark the journey of another epic season of Africa’s biggest reality show which kicks off on September 7, at Sasani Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa.
“Already, fans are asking, who will the new housemates be? Who will find their names and their faces gracing newspapers? Who will become the subject of drive time radio and just who will find themselves trending on all social media platforms?
“Unlike previous years, this year’s entry process is slightly different as such, potential housemates are invited to come in their numbers for auditions in their respective country venues. You do not need to fill those registration forms, just come to Crossroads Hotel for the auditions as long as you are over the age of 21, a Malawian citizen and you have a valid passport,” explained MultiChoice Malawi’s marketing manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda.
Previous editions of Big Brother Africa have boasted huge cash prizes for winners and this it is no different as the prize money is $300 000.
Big Brother Africa 9 will be screened live 24/7 on DStv channels 197 and 198 while GOtv audiences will see highlights of the show.
This year, Big Brother Africa which is produced by Endemol SA, is scheduled to run for 91 days.
